ANZAC  Day 

in 

Brisbane City. 

Sandie, Steve, Sam, Chikako and Ian

all caught the train into Brisbane

to watch the ANZAC Day Parade. 

The weather was warm. 

 After the Anzac Parade had ended we went for coffee. 

Then wandered down to the Embassy Hotel for a fried luncheon
and a couple of beers. 

 Walked via the Casino over to Southbank and then caught
the train back to Morningside. 

An enjoyable but tiring day.

3 x bacon 'n egg pies. 

Chikako's first-ever time to sample a custard apple
which I bought at Carindale Shopping Centre. 

Sam hadn't eaten one in yonks. 
They both pronounced it "good" ....
