Walking 

We drove to the Bird Sanctuary and then chose a trail from there. 
It wasn't so long however it was very steep. 
The day was fine but warm, maybe 25C. 

This walking trail was near many cemeteries. 
The late Sakura blossoms still lay on the ground like a carpet...... so beautiful. 

After completing the first walk we went to Hanamiyama Park. 
My first-ever time there. 

This venue is very popular so we had to park a distance away 
and then walk to the park itself. 


I saw some beautiful flowers growing in what looked like a rice paddy. 

This City ..... pretty, eh ? 

Too much steep walking today ! 
We were both so tired and had muscle-ache, too. 
But we enjoyed a lot.

Sunday Afternoon
3rd May, 2015 

We caught the bus to Sendai City to go to the 6 pm Church Service. 
After that, we went for dinner. 

My Lent 101 -  101 days of no alcohol and no bread have ended. 
So I drank wine and Chikako drank beer. 

Wine was nice but I was short-changed on the quantity ! 
Where is the Plimsol Line ??? 

 Garlic bread -  first time to eat it in maybe..... how long ? 

The food was good, the amount of wine served was not. 

We then went shopping and on to a second bar. 

Back on the late bus to This City. 
A fun afternoon / evening.

I traveled by local train 

from This City to That City. 

Unfortunately, it was for work, not pleasure. 

 Looking out from the 5th floor of the office. 
There is a lot of new construction happening, which is great. 

And then back by local train to This City to continue working...
