Saturday, 11th February, 2017. 

It is a National Holiday in Japan and so I have the day off ! 

A 3-day weekend for me is a very rare event indeed. 

We went to a Thai Restaurant in Suzuran Street ( Paseo Dori ).

It has only recently opened and is already very popular 

and we understand why that is. 

Both the decor and ambiance are great, to say nothing of the food. 

We greatly enjoyed our first visit there. 

And then came the delicious luncheon ........

After lunch we went shopping etc
then stopped for coffee in AXC, 2nd floor. 

 It was a full moon with an eclipse of some sort this evening. 
We had strong, bitingly-cold wind with driving snow. 
Difficult night to be out walking.

We also spent the late afternoon / early evening packing for the trip to Oz. 

Australian Weather

The weather in Australia is unbelievably hot

at the moment. I have not experienced such temperatures

especially in mid-February.

Friday, 3rd is Setsubun. 

It is always fun to throw beans and chant:

Ono wa soto !

Fuku wa uchi !

Devils / Demons out ! 

Good Luck / Happiness in ! 

At least, let's hope that it's true for 2017. 

Saturday Evening, 4th, we went to a yakitori shop

in This City. It was really nice ! 

A cyclamen flower with a splash of Winter colour in our apartment. 

Sunday, 5th, we went out for a cheap pasta lunch mid-afternoon. 

It was okay.  

After that we went to Aeon. 

In the car park was a huge snow plough and a pile of snow. 

Monday sunrise, 6th. 

I took some photos looking Eastwards. 

Taken from inside the car  and car in the garage. 

We had heavy fog this morning. 

 A little later on, I took more photos from the apt facing Eastwards again. 

My passionfruit vine is still alive even after having been left outside for the Winter. 

She ( we think "she" ) always come to visit us and receive some bread.
