We met Steve, Sandie and Beth
and caught the City Cat to South Bank
where we met Chikako san who had been at her volunteer teaching position
@ State High and walked down to meet us.
We went to the Night Markets and then had dinner together.
My first time to try this boutique beer from Burleigh Heads.
Quite nice, very hoppy taste.
Food was okay. Not special.
After dinner we had ice cream - Chikako ordered sticky date
with two scoops of vanilla. Yummy but high calorie !
Sunday
24th June, 2018.
We had to meet Phillip & Ann at the Parkwood Tavern
to get some things.
After that Sam drove us to Main Beach and we parked
then walked down Narrowneck to Surfers.
The weather was a typical South East Queensland
Winter's Day. Magical.
I need to lose some weight !
Sam and I were trying to find some pippys in the sand
but we had no luck. Just enjoyed.
Surfers Paradise.
We went to Mos Burger for a late lunch,
noting that Sam does not eat before 6 pm.
So he drank coffee.
We bought a Set for Two People
which was really good.
