It was a windy day - we were supposed to go

parasailing on the Broadwater but had to postpone

until the next vacation.

Nonetheless, we drove up to Surfers Paradise

and wandered about plus had lunch. 

Just chillin` ......

 

 

Below: an Ibis was looking for food.

 



 

I really did not want to eat pizza or french fries or meat.

I just wanted to eat a salad or Japanese food.

We drove to BrisVegas for the joint birthday dinner.

Chikako, Dec, Andie and Geoff.



Easy to tell that these folks are frequent international travellers -

they have five clocks set for five different time zones.

Tokyo included !



These salads were so delicious.

Some sort of Chinese noodles and spinaches, maybe.
