We landed on the Gold Coast.
Jetstar are terrible, as always !
We dropped our bags at Phillip`s house for a while until we could
get into the condo at 1 pm checkin.
Above: June bought some wine and some beer - very kind of her.
Below: Chikako was offering a treat to Jam, Phillip`s dog.
Monday, we checked in at Currumbin Sands Resort, then we went shopping for groceries, etc.

On Tuesday, 7th August, 2012 we drove to Brisbane City to get June.

A butcher bird happened by to say, "Hello"
After luncheon, we took a long-overdue trip to Toowong Cemetary
to catch up with the rels.

All a little bit overgrown, I need to come and tidy things up.
The black wattle tree growing out of the family graves looks kinda cool, methinks.

After that, we went to meet Geoff & Andie for a finger-food dinner.
They are wonderful friends, Sam`s Godparents, and perfect hosts.
Of course Andie meet Chikako in Koriyama, but it was the first time
for her and Geoffrey to meet.
She `n Geoffrey hadn`t seen Sam and Dec for 12 years almost
Although I did stay with them in March, 2012 when I was in town.
After that, we drove back to the Gold Coast.
Quite an exhausting day, fun though.
