Christmas Pudding

This year we will prepare a Christmas Pudding ! 

Doing this is not typical in Japan, at all and it is Chikako`s first attempt. 

It is different to Christmas Cake. 

My cousin, Jennifer, is sending an old family recipe which 

my paternal grandmother used to make every year apparently. 

I have never had this particular pudding before.

It needs some delicious ingredients, such as ..........

Chikako sampled her very first ever

 SNAKEBITE

 Japanese beer and South African dry sparkling cider. 

50% cider into a glass. 

 Top up with the beer. 

And there you have it, a Snakebite. 

 She enjoyed it a lot ! 

Another new experience to notch up in her adventure-filled life ....

for her to meet my Mother for the very first time.

Both ladies are so excited to be able to finally meet each other ! 

I am thrilled that my Mother can, at last, get to meet the Love of my Life before exodus.
