Fifty years ago today, it was also a Monday.
I joined the CSB @ Ashgrove.
How that half century has flown by.
My Cancerian Horoscope for today

Oscar Cainer:
Welcome to your Monday forecast. You’re in the right place. But suppose this forecast was for Monday next year? That would be ridiculous… right?! Although it’s understandable that we’d all like to be able to look ahead to know how a situation is going to turn out, try, on this powerful day, to focus on what’s unfolding in the here and now. As your ruler lights up the skies, and links with innovative Uranus, a recent idea deserves your full attention. Rather than letting anything else preoccupy you, make sure you focus on what’s current.

Just because they say ‘there’s no gain without pain’ doesn’t mean that we always need to suffer to make progress. No. Neither does being in a painful situation guarantee that we’re gaining anything valuable. The legacy of the New Moon is encouraging you to change your attitude to a difficult situation in your world. You don’t need to walk into the New Year entrenched in anything that’s causing stress. Not only are you entitled to enjoy the celebrations. If you look forwards with hope, you’ll like what happens next.
I really need to do this !

Almost the end of this busy-with-work year.
Looking back
Eight years ago on Jan 1st Rozanne passed away.
I spent my first Christmas in Japan
here, in Nodaya Mansion, Koriyama.
This photo was taken maybe 2006 ? I can tell by the coverings
over the external staircase.
Lions Mansion, Fukushima City.
Four years ago on Christmas Eve, Sandie passed away.
Too sad.
