and Dec went surfing for the first time. 

It was such a beautiful Winter's day.

We drove to The Gap to see Dr. Yelland

then over to Geoff  'n Andie's house for dinner. 

Declan served the four dogs their dinners; they wolfed it all down.

Andrea san cooked up a veritable feast for us ! 

Yum, yum .... 

Geoffrey san carved the delicious lamb roast. 

A little slightly-belated birthday surprise for moi. 

How thoughtful of my wonderful friends. 

Vanilla ice cream and candles - a perfect cake for me. 

Followed by black coffee before the drive back to Palm Beach. 

Such a fun time; a wonderful dinner; great friends.

Dec and I drove to Robina Shopping Centre. 

Dec bought the BIG sized Vegemite -  as you do. 

And he scored a new set of Nike Running Shoes, too. 

Couple of party pies and a can of XXXX Gold.

then change

Melbourne
then change to a domestic flight
to 
Coolangatta,  Gold Coast. 

Looooooooooong flight time.

Manchester Airport is not so busy tonight. 

Take Off !  Etihad EY22 has just taken off. It's marked over ManAirport.

Done a 180 degrees. 

Jetting off to Abu Dhabi.

Dec has landed in Melbourne Airport
however he now has to endure a 5 hour wait
for his connecting flight to the Gold Coast.

left 20 minutes late
