albeit a sleeting, drab 'n chilly day. 

 Chikako san choose this .......

Deliciously strong Miso flavour.

Monday, 13th January, 1975

I joined the Commonwealth Bank as a junior clerk. 

What a nightmare that was.

Had I have stayed I would have been celebrating my 40th anniversary. 

It doesn't bear thinking about.

Amazingly, by chance I checked and my life has been a total of 
21012 days 
in length as of today.

We caught the midday bus to Sendai

and had lunch, went shopping, etc. 

We went to Evening Prayers with Father Frank. 

Firstly, we sat in the main Church. 

Very serene and contemplative. 

Then we moved to  the small chapel 

within the Sendai Anglican Church.
