We caught the highway bus to Sendai

to go to Church there. 

Then we had lunch and walked about a bit. 

There was a travel fair on in the arcade.

It was Sam's 23rd Birthday. 
Happy Birthday to him ! 

As per usual, we held a little party, albeit in absentia. 

 The Order of the Day was Tacos ! 

 And a toast with some wine, of course ..... 

 Chikako san bought Sam a birthday cake - chilling in the fridge. 

Sorry that you couldn't join us for your birthday bash, Sam. 
Maybe next year ??

 Sunday arvo we toddled up to Aeon for a look-see and 

ended up in the coffee shop. Chikako san couldn't resist

the sticky high-calorie pretzel-like sweet treat on offer there. 

 Staff put a Love Heart on my flat white coffee...... Wow ~!

Dr. Shiga both bought and brought these delicious Brats for Chikako san last night as gift, knowing how much she enjoys eating them. 

So tonight, Sunday, we opened and cooked them for dinner.  Delicious.

Dr. Shiga came to visit our apartment for dinner. 

Also a very long time, no see ! 

He has been in Barcelona, Spain working. 

This October seems to be the month for people from the past coming to visit me.

It was just wonderful to catch up with her......

That City

We drove down to That City to see Chikako's parents. 

We had dinner together and imparted the news. 

 I went to USUI Department Store and saw my old friend, Chiba San. 

He recommended that I buy this beer as a I needed a special gift for Chikako's Father. 

It is blue beer from Hokkaido. 

Apparently it  is quite sweet, not bitter at all. 

I did not taste it as I am having a Beer Free Year ...... no beer in 2015. 

I guess that "It is the thought that counts", eh ?  

Her parents were Over the Moon at the news.

In the afternoon I received a surprise visit

from Chika and Narumi. 

I hadn't seen them for such a long time; it was great to catch up ! 

Thank you for taking the time to come and see me - just wonderful.

イアンと会って話して、、、
なんとなく自分の原点に返った様な、、、
そんな気分になりました。

4年経った今でも当時と変わらず優しくておもしろいイアンが大好き〜〜！！！

千華とイアン、2人に会って元気をもらいました😊卒業まであと6ヶ月、思いっきり遊んで思いっきり勉強するぞ〜〜✨
