Silver Week in Japan officially started yesterday

however as I work on Saturdays, my Silver Week

started today, Sunday. 

We drove from This City to Akita. 

It was the first time for the both of us to go to Akita. 

Busy on the highway.

We ended up at Mos Burger for lunch ..... Mos is better than other fast food. 

Back on the road again ... 

Akita........ here we come ! 

I waited in the car at the roadhouse..... also quite busy. 

My photos don't quite show the height of the surrounding mountains. 
They are amazing !

For dinner we went to MANMA, like a beer hall. 
It was nice. 

This tasted sooooooo gooooooooood.......... 

Thank you, MANMA =  maybe we can't come back, 
however we did enjoy.

went to a new bar in town for one drink. 

What a disappointment ! 

To say nothing about being ripped-off. 

Never go back there. 

Live and Learn, I guess...... 

There are many much better bars to visit in This City.

A very rainy Sunday

the 30th day of August, 2015. 

We went out for an early lunch at the noodle bar.

After luncheon we went to a shoe shop.

We also went to K's Denki. 

We got a coffee grinder. 

 The inaugural grind - the first time of what will be so many times. 

We love our morning coffee. 

And it worked just perfectly.

It is the 28th anniversary........ and it is also a Friday. 

I  cannot imagine had I persevered. 

To recoup, I purchased 10 x lottery tickets today.
