Really liked him,  he had a dry sense of humour. 

Thinking of you, Freddie. 

My late Father's eldest brother, Cyril with his bride, Doreen Bell

Cyril died very young, aged 29 on 25 December, 1946.

and we three enjoyed lunch together.

It was nice to catch up again.

C H R I S T M A S   D A Y 

By special request, I made risotto with mushroom and chicken soup. 

It was not as difficult to make as I thought that it was going to be. 

First course on the Christmas Menu was Japanese, not Italian. 

Main course is served ! 

And the salad also has Italian dressing... 

 Chikako san made Christmas pudding based on 

my late paternal Grandmother's recipe. 

Yummy ! 

It was a memorable Christmas Dinner together......

2014 

After work I drove from This City to That City 

and met Chikako san there. 

We attended the midnight service 

at

St. Peters and St. Pauls Church of England. 

It will be a White Christmas in 2014. 

I drove down late at night to That City 

to attend Midnight Service. 

It was magical, spiritual, wonderful... 

We stayed overnight at a hotel nearby The Mall. 
It was just a hotel, not special. 
Chikako had to work in That City and I drove 
back to This City alone to prepare
Christmas Dinner.
