My only day off this week ( six days work ). 
However that didn`t stop us from enjoying a Sunday Finale. 

I took Chikako 
to a great Soba Restaurant 
in This City

for a Birthday Luncheon. 

My favourite spice - 7 peppers.

Chikako`s Birthday Celebration

We both worked on Friday until late, 
so no party celebrations, 
my gifts only.

But....... Saturday ?

Well, we both worked Saturday too, 
however Saturday equals 

Birthday Party Night. 


WooHoo ! 

We started with a bottle of Yarra Valley (Victorian) 

Pinot Noir Chardy to kick things off with.

First time, and super good.

Then, I took Chikako to MURAKAMI sushi shop

in This City. 

Saturday was a rainy night, Tsuyu is starting.

Dashi Festival

We were given a very early joint birthday(s) present

from Chikako`s parents. 

A new water-free pan - very interesting. 

The first culinary offering was a curry, which I prepared. 

Aoba Festival - Sendai City

We went to Church in Sendai City

Then we saw the Aoba Festival. 

The weather was wonderful

The festival was wonderful

Lunch was wonderful

I was with a wonderful person

Lucky me ! 

Chikako was imbibing with a little white wine before the procession began. 

The waitress, the folks sitting at the right of the photo - soooo friendly. 

Nice to communicate with them. 

Then lunch at a noodle bar...... just great.
